Monastery on Caldey Island |
Tenby is situated 2 hours from
the Severn Bridge on Pembrokeshire's South Coast along which runs
180 miles of Britain's only coastal National Park. Half
of Pembrokeshire's award winning white, sandy beaches are found
along this wonderful Southern Coastline.
Tenby is in an outstanding position on a rocky promontory. A
picturesque harbour, interesting narrow streets filled with shops,
restaurants and art galleries. From Tenby there are daily
trips to Caldey Island, inhabited by Cistercian Monks, sea birds,
porpoises and seals. Palm trees and other tropical plants
grow in abundance, giving a Mediterranean feel. |
